Sunderbans

Where the Ganges meets the Bay Of Bengal, at the delta, a remarkable group of people have made their home. 

We stay on one of the small islands. The farmers perform duties dictated by the seasons. 

Hemanshu is a farmer and a boatman. He fishes in the rivers of the delta and the Bay of Bengal and he fishes in the ponds on his farm.

Michael and Anne-Marie come from Melbourne Australia. 

This is part of Hemanshu's family. Mother, wife, sister and children are  here and there are some who are not.
